HELP DORIS TO THE FINISH LINE

First, we want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has contributed and prayed and checked in on Doris.

It's been 10 long months for her and indeed, for all of us who have her in mind. The hospital and Drs in Ghana bravely saved her life, the cancer is NOT spreading, she is very very happy and healthy and can run faster than you. We saw how bad her condition was when we first began.

But if the eye is not removed soon, Doris might not see another running day. The next steps of treatment are not available in Ghana. We have contacted Fortis Hospital in India and they are able to complete the treatment.
However, we need to raise 25,000 USD to pay hospital bills, flights, accommodation and meals for 3 people for 3 months in India.

From what we raised last year, we were able to complete 8 chemo cycles, multiple MRI sessions, surgery to the knee, the family has been housed in Accra these 10 months, paid daily wound care for the tumor and we in the process of purchasing  a taxi for the father to help bring income home. We, all of us, did much much more than help save Doris's life. We gave a family hope. Out of that money raised, we also paid hospital care for some other cancer kids at the Korlebu Hospital in Ghana.

Please donate, share, pray, hope and help us get our dear baby Doris to India. Whatever is left from these funds raised will go towards another child at Korle-Bu. Any spillover will also get Doris into a good blind school which is also quite pricey.

You may say Doris again or why Doris? We say why not Doris?  Every life deserves going the distance. Please help us go the distance for baby Doris.
