Help Doreen during recovery

Doreen is a legend. An amazing woman who has gotten me out of a bind more times than I can count. She is a child care provider and has been for the last 28 years. Myself, my sister and countless other kids experienced her care as children. She helped shape us all and made damn sure we had manners. I'm almost 30 now, have 3 kids of my own and she cares for them while I work. Childcare has always been her passion and livelihood.

Earlier this week she proved how selfless she is when she saved a small child from a moving vehicle that failed to stop at the crosswalk by the school she walks her daycare kids to everyday. She pushed the child out of the way and ended up getting the full impact of the car.

Now because of this selfless, courageous action she is unable to run her daycare. She is off indefinelty with a serious concussion, bruises and lacerations. If I had the money I would give it to her myself. I don't want to see her suffer any more than she has to, especially after what she did for this child and after what she has done for me my entire life.

Let's help her out. If it was your child she would have saved them too.
