I am an integrative Counseling Psychologist and a certified SomaSource Practitioner with over 7 years of work experience in diverse roles including working with children and young adults with intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders and providing psychotherapy support to youths living in refugee and slum settlements in Kenya, Uganda, and Ghana.

I have been accepted into The Coady Institute at St. Francis Xavier University in Canada to pursue a Diploma in Development Leadership with a $21,000 scholarship. Since the total cost of the programme is $26,000, I am required to raise $5,000 to pay for the remaining tuition fee and an additional $2,000 to cover a roundtrip air ticket from Ghana to Canada. In total, I require $7,000 to participate in this 8-month course.

My participation will set me on my mission to provide psychosocial counseling and therapy to children struggling with various developmental challenges such as Intellectual Disability, ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, Cerebral Palsy, and Autism. I will also address the issue of societal neglect by educating parents and sharing available treatment plans for such conditions. I believe through this, we can help the affected children unearth and nurture the abilities in their “disability”.
