She is a wonderful wife, loving mother, and a number one Nana, who is battling stage 3 cancer. <strong>Medicare will only cover so much and the bills are stacking up.</strong> She is literally having to choose between keeping the lights on and food or treatment. She has recently started chemo and radiation. She has a chemo pump, but for the radiation, she has to be driven over two hours every single day. With copays and gas, it costs about $100 daily. She and her husband are both retired from the school system, but retirement is not covering the cost.
