Help Donna Valentine Matthews

For those of you that don’t know me, I graduated from CHS in 72 and I’ve known Donna Valentine Matthews for a good number of years.

Sometimes we need to help and this is one of those times. Donna is having a rough time.  As you can see from a Facebook post, her husband Jeff was in a serious wreck….

“I know I while back I did a post saying God doesn't give you more than you can handle but ...I need lots of prayers again! My sweetheart Jeff was in a serious car crash! He rolled his truck coming home from Augusta yesterday afternoon! Severe head wound and broken ribs front and back! Totally sedated as he has incubated with a breathing tube! He's had a couple of CT scans. He is being transported to MUSC in Charleston where they will reassess his condition! The roads are really bad here right now! But we will take it one step at a time!”

And to make matters worse, they have no insurance right now.  I don’t need to go into details, but both Jeff and Donna are between jobs and this is making all of this so much worse.   I am always donating to people that I don’t know and while I don’t know Donna well, I knew as soon as I read the post that I wanted to help her.  All the money will go directly to Donna to help her through this tough time.   I will work with Donna to get posts out to everyone about how Jeff is doing and how she is holding up.

So give what you can and I know it will be much appreciated!!
