On a night that changed everything, Don Jarabek—known as Papa to his family—lost his longtime home to a sudden fire. The cause is still unknown, but the impact has been devastating. Don and his beloved dogs, Kinnick and Athena, were displaced and spent the night in the hospital. Thankfully, they have been released, but Don is now facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over with almost nothing.

 Don has lived in his home since 1989, building a lifetime of memories there. He is the kind of person who would drop everything to help anyone in need. In recent years, Don has faced heartbreaking losses, including his first grandson, Corey, in 2017 and his wife, Nancy, in 2018. Through it all, his dogs Kinnick and Athena have been his loyal companions, and he loves them as family.

 Right now, Don urgently needs support for temporary housing, replacing essential belongings, covering medical bills, and providing basic necessities for himself and his dogs. Any help will make a real difference as Don, Kinnick, and Athena work to rebuild their lives after this tragedy.
