Help Support Dolphins Pacific During COVID-19
Alii and Hello Everyone,
Dolphins Pacific is a non-profit dolphin interaction, education and research facility located within the UNESCO World Heritage listed Rock Islands of Palau. We provide a variety of interactive opportunities for people to get up close and personal with our dolphins, and learn more about Palau’s unique marine environment.
We are currently home to six Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins, including our new dolphin calf Mekreos. Our dolphins are cared for around the clock by a team of animal care professionals who make sure our animals are safe and healthy. Our economy relies heavily of tourism, and Dolphins Pacific is no exception. Due to the world-wide COVID-19 pandemic, tourism to Palau has been halted, and it is still unknown as to when it will begin again.
All profits made from our dolphin interactions and marine education programs go back into the maintenance of our animals, including food and medical supplies.
In order to maintain the health and well-being of our animals, we are looking to raise money to keep our animals fed during this period of uncertainty. Any donation amount can help, and all money will go towards helping us purchase the fish and medicines for our animals, with a little going towards maintaining our facilities.

ドルフィンズパシフィックは非営利団体が運営する、イルカとの触れ合い、環境教育、研究を行っている施設です。
UNESCO世界遺産に指定されたパラオのロックアイランドに位置しており、パラオ特有の自然環境やイルカについて学び、触れ合える機会を提供しています。
現在は産まれたばかりの仔イルカMekreosを含め、6頭のバンドウイルカを飼育しています。この施設のイルカは動物飼育の専門家により、24時間安全かつ健康にケアされています。
現在、世界規模のCOVID-19のパンデミックによりパラオへの観光はストップしており、いつ再開されるか分からない状況です。
パラオの経済は主に観光によって支えられており、ドルフィンズパシフィックも例外ではありません。
この施設でのイルカとの触れ合いや、環境教育プログラムによる利益はすべてイルカの餌代や薬代、施設管理費に還元されています。
私たちはこの不安定な時期でもイルカの健康を保てるよう、餌代を確保するため寄付を募っています。
少額であっても大きな助けになります。募金はすべて魚や薬の購入、もしくは必要最低限の施設管理費に充てられます。

海豚湾是一个非营利组织、教育及研究机构，坐落于世界文化遗产的洛克群岛。我们提供大众许多与海豚互动的活动，还有一窥帕劳海洋环境的机会。 我们有6只瓶鼻海豚，还有一只小宝宝 Mekreos。海豚们全天由专业人员照顾，以确保牠们的健康，海豚湾的维生倚赖着观光，因为疫情关系，重创帕劳观光产业， 也不晓得观光业何时能恢复。所有营收都是为购入海豚的饲料及医疗费用，剩下经费才运用在设备维系。为求海豚湾的营运，在未来充满未知的情况下，任何的款项都会是很大的帮助。 诚挚地感谢您的协助，我们及海豚们都将继续启发人们及执行海洋环境保护的任务。
