Help D'NA Get Gender Confirmation Surgeries!

Donation protected

In 1977,  D'NA, otherwise known as Adina or Dina by those who know and love her, was born with a birth defect that caused the doctors to misidentify her gender. After years of denial, multiple rounds of gender and sexuality conversion therapy,  and forcing herself to pretend to be something she wasn't, in 2018 she made the lifesaving decision to accept who she was and begin medically transitioning. Within two weeks of coming out, doctors started her on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).

Since coming out, her world has turned upside down. Within the last 3 years, she was introduced to the love of her life (the nonbinary dragon writing this), quit her job as a machinist, and began her journey to becoming the phenomenal DJ and beginning producer she is today!  However there are still pieces keeping her from being her full self. Gender confirmation surgeries are the recommended treatment to help. There are very few insurances in Georgia that will cover these surgeries; the funds must come out of pocket. This is where we are asking for help with what otherwise feels impossible.

The first surgery, facial reconstruction, must be booked by 4/11, and if the total cannot be paid by the surgery dates, we lose those dates as well and will require a new consultation and potentially 2x the current quote.

The surgery breakdown is as follows:

Facial Reconstruction/Feminization - $55,000
Breast Augmentation - $9500
Electrolysis and bottom surgery preparation - $10,000
Bottom Surgery/Gender Confirmation Surgery - $35-40,000

Being able to accomplish these surgeries currently feels rather impossible - any little bit definitely helps us to reach our goal. Gender Confirmation Surgery helps people become whole, helps them see the beautiful self that us other people see, and saves lives. If you are unable to donate, please share as far and wide as possible!

Thank you so much in advance for any contribution you choose to give! Know that whether you choose to donate or share, you are helping helping a beautiful woman see what all of us already see in her.
