Help the less privileged, disables in school

Ash and I have organized a lot of fundraisers for Jenny over the past 6 years and have been very blessed with donations, support, kind words of encouragement and even inspiration to continue on the journey of recovery.  We've decided it's time to give back; which is why we started

We believe that everyone  in the world is connected and when others are hurting and struggling it makes our world incomplete.

As Jenny understands how difficult it is to navigate a developed country as a disabled person with a job and great health care; She can't imagine the hardships of those navigating underdeveloped countries like Sierra Leone where the helpful hands foundation is location. Sierra Leone  has ravished by war and ebola over the past decades leaving millions disabled and poverty stricken.

Here's a letter from Foday James Lumeh the founder of Helpful Hands Foundation about their needs and ambition to build sustainable income with the donations. .

Jennifer, I want to use this moment to say a very big thanks to you for your support and guidance to toward our foundation ( Helpful Hands Foundation Sierra Leone) After the civil war ended in Sierra Leone millions of peoples left homeless and thousands of children become amputated, In 2014 Sierra Leone also suffered from Ebola diseases which killed thousands of people ,it caused Children to be homeless. Helpful Hands Foundation Sierra Leone is a Charitable Foundation that is helping the less privileged children /disabled who have suffered from civil war, Ebola diseases and also those whose parents cannot afford their school materials. Helpful Hands Foundation Sierra Leone was founded on 25 April 2018 to help children who $are going through these difficulties (with their school materials and other basic amenities) to help provide it for them . We have started helping Twenty (20) less privileged children /Disabled with school materials and others basic amenities. It's our yearly school project to help the children with school materials.

Our sustainable project of Helpful Hands Foundation Sierra Leone is to do a business plan which will generate income for the children , our current business plan is for us to have a purchase a motor bike to use as a taxi and a generator to support a car wash; which will generate income for the children. The cost of a motorbike is 950us$ and we would like to get two. Weekly motor bikes generate 60us$ for the children. The rest of the donations we are going to purchase are school items such as Books, Uniforms, Bags, Shoes , pens , pencils, and pay school fees for the children . May God bless you and your family as you help the less privileged children . © Foday James Lumeh Founder and CEO of Helpful Hands Foundation Sierra Leone
