June 11, 2025, Jeff and Sally Millsap Gray returned home to find an 80,000 lb tree had fallen on their 19th century home.

While the tree has been removed, the issues continue to increase. Multiple water leaks have been repaired under the house and an engineer has verified the house damage. The next step is to have the house leveled, walls replaced, cabinets repaired which is expected to take 3-4 months. Fortunately the Grays have homeowner insurance. Jeff & Sally have a $6500 deductible and living on social security they simply cannot afford to pay that amount out of pocket plus food expenses as the kitchen is severely damaged.
