Support Dino and his Family
Over the past two years, my brother, Dino Velasco, worked day and night so that they could explore Canada and have a new life. When the pandemic hit, they doubled down on the safety protocols, getting vaccinated, wearing masks, physically distancing themselves, and only going out when absolutely necessary.
His hard work paid off and they made it to Canada on August 4, 2021 showing no symptoms and testing negative for the Coronavirus. 6 days later however, despite all their effort to stay safe and healthy, my brother, and his children tested positive for Covid 19. Thankfully, the kids have recovered from mild symptoms.
My brother Dino however, despite not having any pre-existing conditions, has gotten the worst of what Covid has to offer. We received the sad news that since yesterday, he had been intubated in the ICU of Victoria Hospital, in London, Ontario, having been admitted there since August 14, 2021. With their travel insurance maxed out, he and his family are financially exhausted due to an extended quarantine stay at a hotel, along with Dino’s hospitalization.
For their sake, my family is asking for financial aid to help with the upcoming medical expenses for Dino and his family. They are kind and responsible people struck by terrible circumstances. We hope you can find it in your heart to help this family get back on its feet. Your prayers and love are just as high of significance. Please pray with us for Dino’s health and full recovery.
