Hello everyone! My name is Shaina Yazzie. I am Coyote Pass Clan, born for Red Bottom People. This is how I identify as a Diné womxn. I currently live in Phoenix, AZ but am originally from Greasewood Springs, AZ.
This request is long overdue, and is actually the last option I wanted to use. After the heart of my previous vehicle took its last beat, I have not been in a position to replace it. It was difficult and inconvenient at times, but I managed to get by with the help of family, and when I had the funds, Lyft. Anyone who knows me, knows this is extremely difficult for me to ask for help. I have always prided myself in working hard for whatever I need.
I recently have been blessed with a new job and opportunity to work with O’Odham and Piipash students in a research position, as well as an after school teacher with SRPMIC schools. My route is now further, and makes it difficult to borrow vehicles and pay for Lyfts. I've been on the lookout for a used vehicle, and have found one that can get me to and from work for the next few years. It's not fancy, but it has AC and an engine to get me back and forth. I officially start next week, and currently have no proof to show dealerships that I have income or have had any for the past several months. Anything you are able or willing to help toward my goal is already greatly appreciated. I know a lot of people may not be in a position to help, but even a dollar can add up. I would even appreciate the shares in hopes to further reach my goal.
