Help Dibby to get a stairlift

Donation protected

So as many of you know; my kind, caring and annoying(lol!) stepdad had a major brain hemorrhage  at the start of the year. He was just 52 and at work when it happened. On that day life as we knew it was completely turned upside down.

The stroke left him paralysed down one side and we were told that he may never walk again. Whilst he bravely battled the odds and made a lot of progress, our home is not fit for him and he has been unable to use a bathroom or have a proper shower since he returned from hospital when the pandemic hit. This is also not ideal for his two teenage sons who live at home and are studying for their gcses and a levels respectively.

He did not have life insurance, and whilst I know mum would likely be too proud to ask for help, she has been told she is not entitled to any council grants due to her income as a nurse in the NHS.  Whilst his work have been wonderful, I would really love to see him have some independence and not have to sleep in a hospital bed in our living room.

For Christmas, I would like to kindly ask that instead of any presents or cards, people could donate to this cause to help raise funds to help him get his life back. Anything that anyone could give would be greatly appreciated.
