Help Indonesian Diaspora Affected by Hurricane Harvey Victims in Houston Areas
Tropical storm Harvey caused catastrophic flooding in the Houston area of the United States. Indonesian diaspora resides in many parts of flooded areas, including Meyerland (Central) Houston, Cinco Ranch (West Houston), Katy, Sugarland, etc. The tropical storm has caused seven fatalities. Thousands of people have fled to their rooftops or higher ground as rescuers struggled to keep up with calls for help. Houston emergency services have received thousands of rescue calls in an hour. 1,200 people have been rescued by the coast guard of which 200 were from the air.
Indonesian Diaspora Foundation (IDF) and IDN-USA (Indonesian Diaspora Network USA) would like to ask for your kind donation to help Indonesian Diaspora affected by the hurricane. Together with many entities for all-out efforts to help, IDF and IDN-USA ask for your donation and support to help the victims.
Your donation of $25 dollars, for example, will help provide emergency funds to provide diapers baby wipes, toiletries, feminine hygiene products, non-perishable food, etc. IDF and IDN-USA have opened a special account at “GoFundMe” to accept public monetary donation. Both IDF and IDN-USA are 501c3 organizations. Your contributions made will be a tax-deductible.
