Last week, two of our members from the Dharma Field Zen Buddhist community experienced a devastating loss when their entire apartment building burned down. In a matter of hours, they lost not only their home but all of their belongings—clothing, furniture, appliances, and the everyday essentials that make up a life. Right now, they are staying with a family member, but the road ahead is daunting as they work to rebuild from the ground up.

 As a community, we have always supported one another through difficult times, and now our friends need us more than ever. The funds raised will help them secure a new place to live and begin replacing the basic necessities they lost in the fire. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference as they start to rebuild their lives and regain a sense of stability and comfort.
