<div><strong>The Mission: Running To Raise Awareness</strong>

<div>On May 1, 2026, Amanda and I are setting out on a 3,365-mile journey from Boston, MA, to Newport, OR, following US Route 20. Project RAAM (Run Across America) is more than a physical challenge; it is a spiritual calling to live in God’s will and show others what is possible through faith and movement. While I run 20–30 miles a day roughly 5 days a week, Amanda will manage our 1995 Chevy Jamboree RV and all logistics as we cross through 12 states.

<div><strong>Why We Are Running</strong>
</div>
<div>Physical and mental health are deeply connected. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I see the urgent need for accessible care every day. That’s why we’ve partnered with To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) to fund low- and no-cost therapy for teenagers struggling with depression and anxiety. Our goal is to inspire others to move their bodies and trust in their own potential, even when the path ahead seems scary.

<div>Your support allows you to either fund a youth's therapy session or help us manage the daily logistics of living in our RV. We’ve broken down our costs so you can see exactly how your generosity keeps this mission moving:

<li>Fuel the Journey ($150): Fills our gas tank for the next stretch of road.

<li>A New Pair of Shoes ($150): I’ll go through roughly 8 pairs of sneakers on this trip.
</li>
<li>Rec Center Recovery ($15-$30): Provides two day passes for a hot shower, recovery tools and room to stretch.
</li>
<li>Sponsor a Laundry Day ($10-$20): Covers the cost of washing and drying our clothes at a laundromat or campground on a weekly basis. Running 20–30 miles a day means constant gear rotations.
</li>
<li>Self-Care: Funds outlets like therapeutic massages, movie nights, or going out to eat in a new city. These are essential to keeping our mental health in check while living on the road and out of an RV for months at a time.

<li>Life on the Road: Your gifts also go towards necessities such as propane, weekly groceries, and water. Even small comforts like our favorite pizza, ice cream or monthly Netflix subscription help us recharge after a long day on the pavement.
