<div>Imagine having the qualifications, the passion, and the drive to contribute to society, but being physically held back from doing so. This is the daily reality I face due to cerebral palsy and a lack of suitable mobility.

<div>My current van, almost 20 years old, is no longer safe or reliable for transporting my wheelchair. This means my world shrinks significantly. Getting around independently on footpaths or roads with my wheelchair is incredibly challenging and often impossible. It prevents me from engaging fully in my community, pursuing opportunities, and simply living with the independence many take for granted.

<div>To truly regain my independence and unlock my potential, I urgently need a fit-for-purpose wheelchair accessible van. The cost for a suitable vehicle is approximately €35,000. This campaign is a plea for help to bridge that gap and transform my daily life.

<div>I am not someone who is unwilling to contribute. I hold a 1st Class Honours Bachelor's Degree in Politics and Sociology and a 2nd Class Honours Masters in Qualitative Research Methods. My dream is to use these skills to secure employment and, crucially, to advocate for better rights and opportunities for disabled and non-disabled people alike. But despite my qualifications and relentless efforts, I have encountered significant barriers to employment – barriers that are only amplified by my limited mobility.

<div>Though I'm trying to organize events and gifts of gratitude, I still won't achieve the sufficient amount of funding that is required. On another note, I haven't received the necessary support from government bodies or most organisations to fund this essential need. This is why I am reaching out directly to the kindness of individuals like you.

<div>My goal is to live a life of purpose – working in my field and "standing up" for a more equal and inclusive world for everyone. The van is the vital tool that will enable me to do this.
