Help Dennis Terry Cassidy keep his home

Dennis "Terry" Cassidy is a loving Father, grandfather and main support for his family. He is in need. Dennis helps to support his family and grandchildren from the proceeds of his small business, The Ozone Lounge in Albany, GA. Dennis, or Terry as his family calls him, fell sick with Covid in November, as did his entire family all of whom have been out of work for almost a month due to falling ill with the virus. The hardship of not working and the slowdown caused by restrictions have hurt the family financially as it has for many. As if things weren’t dire enough, after recovering from Covid, Dennis lost his leg by amputation due to complications from diabetes and is currently in the hospital recovering.
Dennis has always been there for his community. " Dad is always helping people, he has a benefit pool at the “lounge” for people who are going through hard times and he also invites the homeless into the lounge to work for pay to give them a sense of dignity—making work for them so they don’t feel like it’s a handout. Now, we are the one’s who need help and it's hard to ask for because we are usually the caregivers." —Ashley Cassidy
Due to the impact on the family business from Covid, illnesses due to the virus, and the hospitalization due to issues with his foot and leg, Dennis fell behind on the family’s mortgage and taxes. Furthermore, it will be a long recovery and rehabilitation for him which will cause even more hardship on the entire family who rely on his income combined with their own to stay afloat.
These are trying times for everyone so we are looking not only to friends, family and those that know and love Dennis and his family but to the kindness of others. Every size donation matters and is appreciated by the Cassidy family who have a history of paying it forward.
Above all, we are hoping for prayers for healing for the entire Cassidy family.
We are trying to raise $16,000 to cover daily living expenses, medical supplies, and the mortgages while he rehabilitates from the loss of his leg. Any donation size is appreciated.
