<div>I am Tash, reaching out to you on behalf of my aunty, my dad's little sister, my first best friend; Denavue. In 2008 she was diagnosed with stage 3 Breast Cancer which she was able to beat through conventional treatment.  Denavue is my dad's only surviving sister as we lost my aunt Prisca to Cancer in 2009, just one year after Denavue was diagnosed and still undergoing her treatments.  Over the years, Denavue continued to take care of herself and her family, never missing an appointment to make sure her health was in good standing.

<div>If you know Den, you know she always has a smile on her face. Because of her joyful personality, and outward demeanor, you may not know that she is a Cancer Survivor or imagine what she has been through over the years; dubbing herself "a human pin cushion".  Den has been in remission until last year, August 2022 when she learned that she had a relapse. Over the years she began to experience excruciating pain associated with the outdated implants inserted from her mastectomy.  It was during her pre-opt testing for the procedure that Denavue learned that there were nodules on her lungs.  After which she had to undergo further testing and a biopsy that confirmed the Cancer had returned to her body.  This time she has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer.

<div>Denavue wasted no time getting on a treatment regimen as recommended by her doctors.  While conventional treatments have worked for a while, it was determined in August 2023 that they are no longer effective in providing the necessary healing.  At this time Denavue had a follow-up CT scan that showed that some of the tumors were now growing and not responding to the treatment as it had before.  She was then advised to do a genetic test to possibly switch to another drug, but the test determined her immune system is too week and needs a jolt at this point.  This is why she is now seeking to try alternative treatments to give the immune system the jolt it needs to work in conjunction with traditional medications.

<div>To date, she has funded all of her treatments, medications, travel expenses and Dr.'s appointments.  Denavue is also the sole provider for her two children: a son and a daughter.  Having a heart of gold, she also took in her daughter's best friend after she lost her mother to Breast Cancer.  Now it's our time to be there for Den and help her get the alternative treatment she needs to build up her immune system.
