Help Delta Stageworks get a new play up on stage!

Hi there

My name is Peg Christopherson. I'm the artistic lead at Delta Stageworks - a small theatre company based in Delta, BC, Canada.

Thanks for watching our video about Delta Stageworks's effort to raise production funding for our new devised-theatre play, Heirlooms & Baggage (My Mother's Story). This show features five diverse Canadian actor/writers in collaboration with a dramaturge and a director; some award-winning Film/TV and stage actors as well as emerging theatre artists.

This show is about our mothers journeys through life; what we learn about them - and ourselves - in telling their stories. Audiences will find connections with those universal moments of being a Mom and also share moments of discovery like, "who was she when she wasn't being my Mom?". The show, both funny and moving, also tells stories about revelations and realizations we have about the heirlooms and the baggage - the good and the bad, the tangible and intangible - that our mothers leave us with.

From the cost of renting a theatre, to the set, props, lighting and paying our company of professional artists - it's a big chunk of change to produce a show - even with arts grant support! We are truly grateful for any $10-$100 donation you can make toward the costs of our 2023 production!
