Help deliver 4x4s to Ukraine

FEB 2022: The first pickup and generator were handed over to their new owners in Kharkiv.

Now we will be aiming to purchase another 4x4 to go to the frontlines for transport and evacuations. This will be used by non-military volunteers.



DEC 2022: The pickup truck has been purchased. Additional funds now will be used to obtain a mobile diesel generator to be used in areas with no power.

As of the 17th May 2022, the UN has recorded 7964 Civilian Casualties in Ukraine. The true number is far higher.

 

One of the things those in Ukraine are severely lacking is effective combat/trauma medicine. Civilians are needlessly dying of mostly shrapnel wounds from shells and missiles in civilian areas. Additionally, their fleet of ambulances and wider medical infrastructure is mostly destroyed in the East of the country. They are crying out for 4x4 vehicles to substitute with.

 

I am in contact with Ukrainians on the ground and intend to fundraise to provide them with 2-3 4x4 vehicles and am attempting to fill them with tourniquets, bandages, haemostatic (blood clotting) dressings and other items that they will use to save lives. I am also in the process of sourcing several small, portable generators to be used in field hospitals.

 

I will be crossing the border into Ukraine and handing everything over personally, cutting out any middle men and the associated bureaucracy. Obviously, the UK and Europe as a whole are supporting Ukraine in a very public manner at an official level. But there are still a lot of gaps to fill with the basics like life saving medical items and this is where I hope to make a small difference.
