Apartment Fire Recovery Fund for Scott Family

Please help my friend Deirdre and her family who lost nearly everything they own in an apartment fire. D is an incredible person, giving and doing so much for her community, children’s schools and church. She needs our support now so please reach as deep as you can. Thank you.

Here is her story. 

On May 7, 2020 which just so happens to be my birthday, while out at the supermarket I received a frantic call from my oldest son informing me that there was a fire in our building, and that he called 911 and he and his little brother were outside safe. I was 5 blocks away. I forgot my groceries and ran all the way home to find my sons standing on the sidewalk and smoke coming from the windows of the upper floors of the building. 
Our apartment and personal belongings were completely destroyed by the fire and excessive wate 
r damage. We are temporarily staying in a hotel.  We are not able to return to our apartment anytime soon. 
We are asking for our community's help and support. The funds raised will assist with shelter, food and replacement of personal belongings.
