<div>Hey everyone :) my name is Dee, and I am currently going through one of the most intense health scares of my life. There’s a team of 7+ doctors helping me get to the bottom of this flare-up; during these past few weeks I’ve been to the ER 3 times and eventually got admitted due to my symptoms not improving enough for me to go home. While being hospitalized I’ve reached out to specialists who are more aware of the intricacies of my conditions, (they suspect HAE, MCAS, EDS, and POTS are in a hectic hell-storm wreaking havoc on my body all at once), and the biggest underlying issue includes mold toxicity (CIRS).

<div>Because my body is so overloaded with mycotoxins, even the most mundane of things are making my body react with anaphylaxis. Even on the right diet, protocols, supplements and medicines, I will continue to relapse and get more sick unless I change my living situation.

<div>As you all can probably imagine, it’s not easy to find a mold-free living situation, let alone is it easy to do it in such a short period of time with such urgency. On top of urgently finding new housing that’s CIRS approved, I also will need to be working with specialist doctors outside of my insurance network, as my regular doctors simply aren’t well-versed in these conditions. Some of the diagnostic tests run upwards $300-$500 each, plus the medical expenses of this hospital stay, plus ongoing costs of special medicine, supplements, and out-of-network doctors’ appointment expenses…this will put me out thousands of dollars easily.

<div>During this time I have had to postpone my retreat (a source of income), as well as put off any launches due to my fragile health state. I am barely able to eat more than 5 foods, lost 15lbs during this 3 week period, need to be hooked onto IV’s constantly to stay hydrated, and don’t have enough strength to walk further than the bathroom. On top of all of these changes, I need to make sure I’m under as little stress as possible, since stress can trigger reactions that put me right back to square one.

<div>This is a lot, I know. All of these health issues have been compiling over years, and while I’ve been doing my best to manage them on my own, I simply can’t do that anymore. I’m currently in survival mode; my best plan of action is to put everything on pause and get these issues resolved as soon as possible so I can survive and hopefully, be able to thrive once again and get back to doing the things I love.
