I'm writing this on behalf of some pretty amazing women that have spent most of their adult lives caring for the most precious little humans in the world. I am one of these women. I have spent 18 years of my life working at Jones Memorial Child Development Center. The women here love with all they have. We have been there to watch as these babies grow and meet all their milestones. We have cheered them on as they have built towers, learned to ride a tricycle, said their first words, and took their first steps. We are who they want to run to when they are hurt or just need love. We have built bonds with so many wonderful families.

Unfortunately, we were informed that we are being closed down due to financial difficulties we have been unable to bounce back from. We are incredibly heartbroken.

The quick closing of the daycare leaves a lot of women out of work and bills still needing to be paid until we can get back on our feet. We all have families of our own that we have to take care of. If you have anything you can give to help take some of the stress off these incredible women, it would be greatly appreciated. God bless.
