On September 28th Debbie was called frantically by a neighbor. The neighbor informed her of what would be anyone's worst nighhtmare, her home was on fire. All of Debbie's memories raising her family in her home have been depleted, her art (she was an artist,) her furniture, her clothes, everything this wonderful lady had in her home she called her "peaceful nest" and "sanctuary" has been destroyed.
She has been working so hard her entire life so that she could stay there for the duration of her life. She is an artist and avid gardener, her home was her peace and therapy after a long weeks' work.
Debbie always had the most beautifully decorated home in the whole neighborhood over the Christmas season... One that you would stare at in awe of the beauty and peacefulness it brought to you in the chaos of holiday season.
She opened her home to all anytime. Our kids would love going to see her special treasures she collected along with the wonderful smell that all old homes have. It gave a feeling of nostalgia, that we adults still get of our own memories when we were children.
Please help donate to help get Debbie back on her feet. Any donated amount is deeply appreciated.
God Bless you all for taking time to be part of this mission.
