Help Deb Cautley, the girl who helped many

At this stage of her life, Deb Cautley expected to be enjoying retirement. She certainly has earned it; however, through misfortune and circumstances beyond her control, had to return to work and now has been laid off from the job she worked at remotely from home until April or May. EI is reduced by her CPP and leaves her no further ahead and she is unable to look for work because of mental illness that keeps her housebound. Deb is a kind, compassionate, and generous soul. She worked tirelessly for at-risk and disadvantaged youth at YESS and was a passionate advocate for both the youth and staff. There are countless others who have been touched by this woman’s kindness - receiving valuable guidance, offered heartfelt support in times of need or sorrow, and receiving no-judgement affirmation and acceptance. Even through her own devastation when her son, Billy, died by suicide, Deb published a daily blog of her grief journey, giving comfort to others touched by suicide or the loss of a child. Now it is Deb who needs your support. A financial crisis has her in financial straits. The crisis is immediate but is only needed to cover the next few months. Deb must continue specialised counselling sessions in order to maintain a fragile stability - $3,060 will cover the sessions until May. Household expenses that aren’t covered are hard to set but expected to be about $3000 per month. So often, tragedy can be avoided by helping people over a small gap. Please give as generously as you are able so Deb doesn’t fall through the crack that she has saved so many others from falling through.
