Deb faces a double mastectomy on March 8, 2018. She is determined not to let Breast Cancer take her away from her family.
“Fu** Breast Cancer,” says this spunky Italian grandma. “I beat Ovarian Cancer. I will beat this too.”
Deb is the first to help anyone in need, and now this wonderful woman with a big heart and feisty personality needs YOUR help. Just 1.5 years from retirement, Deb Dionesotes is now facing $8,000 in out of pocket medical expenses, extended time off work and a large reduction in her income.
Support this amazing woman, mother and grandmother by giving to this fund today!
For the second time in 10 years Deb is battling for her life. She beat Stage 3C ovarian cancer over 8 years ago and now Stage 2 breast cancer has reared its ugly head.
Like actor Angelina Jolie, Deb carries a BRCA mutation that greatly increases a woman’s chance of developing breast cancer. Jolie found out early in life and chose to head off breast cancer by having a double mastectomy. Jolie also chose to share her story to raise breast cancer awareness.
Like Jolie, Deb is sharing her story leading up to the mastectomy/reconstruction and through her recovery to raise awareness and help women suffering from breast cancer. Follow Deb’s daily live feeds on FaceBook at: www.facebook.com/ddionesotes
According to the National Cancer Institute, “55 to 65 percent of women who inherit a harmful BRCA1 mutation and around 45 percent of women who inherit a harmful BRCA2 mutation will develop breast cancer by age 70 years.”
DEB NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT. Don’t wait. Donate today.
