<div>What is CDYLC?
</div>
<div>Canadian Deaf Youth Leadership Camp is a bi-annual event hosted by DYC (Deaf Youth Canada) that lasts a full week. The motto of DYC is “By youth, for youth, about youth.” This year we are inviting Deaf Youth from across Canada between the ages 18 - 30

<div>We are excited to announce the theme of this year’s camp is Guiding the Lights!
</div>

</div>
<div>We understand that the economic has been difficult for many of us, especially financially! So, money will not be the only thing that can help us! If you cannot donate money at this time, please share the link to this GoFundMe with your network so this way, those with money can donate!

<div>We are fostering the next generation of leaders in the Deaf Community. Through CDYLC, we exchange knowledge, build connections, and plant the seeds of Deaf leadership in Canada.

<div>CDYLC is an excellent opportunity for Deaf Youth to gather especially since Canada is a humongous country and the number of opportunities to gather is really sparse.

<div>So what are we fundraising for?

<div>We are fundraising for costs to cover the following:
</div>
<div>- Cost of the Camp
</div>
<div>- Fees for Guest Presenters
</div>
<div>- Group Transportation (Shuttle Bus)
</div>

</div>
<div>If we fundraise enough money, we might be able to reduce the costs of camper’s admission fees which is currently $515.00 per camper, which is the total for seven days. This cost covers three meals per day, bed/cabin, access to clean shower, workshops, recreational activities, camper t-shirt, and a CDYLC hoodie.

<div>What will we do at camp?
</div>
<div>The focus is to cultivate our future Deaf leaders through education, team building activities, and socialization. There will be a plethora of activities including but not limited to: swimming, trail biking, archery, kayaking, and rock climbing. The campsite is based right by the coast of the Pacific Ocean.

<div>Le Camp de leadership des jeunes sourds canadiens est un événement semestriel organisé par DYC (Jeunesse sourde du Canada) qui dure une semaine complète. La devise de DYC est "Par les jeunes, pour les jeunes, sur les jeunes". Cette année, nous invitons des jeunes Sourds de tout le Canada âgés de 18 à 30 ans.

<div>Si nous collectons suffisamment d'argent, nous pourrons peut-être réduire les frais d'admission des campeurs, qui s'élèvent actuellement à 515 $ par campeur, soit le total pour sept jours. Ce coût couvre les trois repas par jour, le lit/cabine, l'accès à une douche propre, les ateliers, les activités récréatives, le t-shirt du campeur et le sweat à capuche du CDYLC.
