They have no relatives outside of Palestine to set up their GoFundMe account so Moataz, the family’s father, has asked for me to help and requests your support to rebuild their lives.

<li>To evacuate Moataz, Yasmeen and their 3 children will cost $17,500 (Hala charges $5,000 per adult and $2,500 per child)

<li>To cover GFM transaction fees (2.9% + $0.30 deducted per donation)
</li>
<li>For shelter, food, supplies, etc. upon arrival in Egypt

<div>How will these funds get to them?

<li>The donations from GoFundMe will be transferred to my US bank account then transferred internationally in USD to a trusted friend who is from Kuwait. She will travel to Egypt and deliver the funds to the Hala travel agency in Cairo to put Moataz’s family on the list for evacuation.

<div>Moataz and Yasmeen first reached out to me for support in December of 2023. We message one another daily or whenever they have an internet connection. Here is a message from Moataz and Yasmeen regarding their family situation and what life has been like for them.

<div><strong>From Moataz:</strong> I am deaf and mute. I have 3 children, two sons and a daughter, Maria, Ahmed, and Aboud (Abdullah). My wife also has special needs, deaf and mute. We have no breadwinner and no source of income. We are now in a time of war, suffering from a scarcity of food and drink.
