<div>Arturo Gimenez, beloved deacon at Blessed Sacrament Church for many years, has been battling advanced lymphoma for a few fierce months. However, he was sent back to his house last night to close out his remaining time beside his wife of 56 years and with a window view of his cherished garden and birds.

<div>The battle has been hard. Lymphoma is usually treatable. But he is 82 with rheumatoid arthritis and arrhythmia. He has fought pneumonia twice, has blood clots, three types of bacteria, and more. This poor man is going through it—and has done so with grace, patience, and acceptance.
