<div>De voedselbank vervult een cruciale rol in onze samenleving. Steeds meer mensen, gezinnen, alleenstaanden, ouderen hebben moeite om elke dag eten op tafel te krijgen. De kosten van levensonderhoud blijven stijgen, en de vraag naar hulp groeit sneller dan het aanbod.

<div>Daarom starten we deze GoFundMe actie: om de voedselbank te steunen zodat niemand met honger naar bed hoeft te gaan.

<div>Wat gebeurt er met je donatie?

<div>De voedselbank levert een bijdrage aan de verzachting van (verborgen) armoede en gaan verspilling van voedsel tegen. Dat doen ze door kwalitatief goede voedingswaren in te zamelen en vervolgens aan huishoudens die in grote armoede leven de mogelijkheid te bieden bij de voedselbank hun boodschappen te halen. Daarmee dragen ze bij aan een duurzame samenleving. Daarnaast werken ze actief samen met andere organisaties om mensen te ondersteunen bij hun weg om uit armoede te komen.

<div>Het aantal mensen dat hulp nodig heeft is de afgelopen maanden fors toegenomen. Tegelijkertijd daalt het aantal donaties en raken de voorraden uitgeput. Zonder extra steun kunnen veel voedselbanken binnenkort niet meer voldoen aan de vraag.
