Hello family and friends! My name is Daysha Brown and I am a new grad from the University of North Florida where I attained my bachelors of science in health with a concentration in interdisciplinary health studies with a double minor in public health and health administration. This fall semester I will be starting grad school at UNF, entering into the masters of health administration program. I had anticipated receiving federal funding to cover housing costs for the months of August- December, textbooks, and other materials needed for the program. This year that is not the case and I will not be receiving any aid outside of one alumni scholarship that does not cover even half the costs. This will stand for the Spring semester as well. I have made it throughout my entire undergraduate years without having to take out any loans and will hope this is not the start.
