Dax needs dental care, along with both boys’ veterinary check-ups. Dax and Lenny are each 7 years old, so routine vet visits are more extensive and necessary. As a newly minted single cat parent with raised costs of living I’m concerned at my ability to cover this expense solo. Dax is asthmatic, so his procedure will require a lot of attention, including bloodwork, which means it will inevitably be more expensive than a typical visit. The smallest amount helps a ton, and while I’m terrified to ask for help while so much is happening all around us, and I feel ashamed even asking, but my 6 day work weeks for the past few months are resulting in severe burnout, so I thought I might seek a little help from my community.
