<div>It is with a heavy heart that I announce the death of Dawna E. Hisey Moore on May 9, 2024. Dawna had a choking incident that resulted in a cardiac event and after lifesaving efforts of both her husband, Jonathon, and the hospital, it was determined that Dawna no longer showed any brain activity; she was only 48 years old and leaves behind her husband, her young daughter, Alina, and many family &amp; dear friends. She passed surrounded by family members and a tremendous outpouring of love. Dawna was selflessly an organ donor, and the family was informed that she saved three lives that day.

<div> All of us were blindsided by Dawna’s sudden, unexpected death. Collectively, our hearts are breaking, particularly for her husband and young daughter, who must now learn to survive without her. Her passing was so recent and already Alina has had to endure Mother’s Day and very soon her own birthday without her mother. Dawna and Jonathon have been together just shy of twenty years and now Jonathon must traverse the difficult path of single-parenting and being a one-income household.

<div> Thankfully family members have stepped up, in particular Jon’s aunt, to cover immediate costs incurred from the cemetery plot, funeral home, etc. However, everyone is quite overwhelmed by the ever-increasing bills. Our hope with this fundraiser is to assist them in covering these costs and hopefully help Alina on the difficult road ahead.

<div> Any amount you are willing to contribute is greatly appreciated and would make a tremendous difference for those involved. If you are unable to give financially, please share this with everyone and often. Anything we can do to relieve some of the burden would mean the world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
