My name is David Zimler. I am a young adult living with my two elderly parents (my father has a bad case of dementia, besides.) We have been in hotels since our home was condemned on August 25 because it was deemed unlivable.

Update: We have been allowed to stay at the house with caveats. See update on the bottom. We still need help. We are no longer homeless, but that could change. The hotel visits, 1-800-Got-Junk, the alarms, the electrician installing those alarms, and the plumber is costing us thousands of dollars all in less than two weeks! We are in a crisis and we need your help to fund the work needed to lift the condemnation so we could sleep at home.

Update: My family can sleep in the house with some caveats. We must get the electrician who installed the alarms for $1,700 to move the alarms because he installed them in the wrong spots of the house. We must also remove the paint chips from the ceiling and clean the floors.
