Asking for help for my family.

My name is Jeannie Gipson, and my father and mother-in-law almost lost everything, including their lives, this morning. This is their story of that happened "Hey we just got home waiting for things to warm up so we can shower and get this smell off of us. That man was an Angel. I know it. You know where our bed was and where that refrigerator was. The flames were right there at the refrigerator. I don’t see how I past by without my hair or something singing. I tried pulling David bc we couldn’t find his leg and it was so dark you couldn’t see your hand. I made it past the frig and bc it was still dark out there was no light coming through to show me where the door was so I just felt my way. David was in the floor on the other side of the flames and I found the door and as soon as I opened it this guy who was slim and sandy blonde hair said for me to get out of there and I told him my husband and dog were inside and that my husband is an amputee and I couldn’t get him. He took off in there and had David dragging him. We looked for him and never once saw this man again. After that we sat on the concrete in our underwear night clothes watching them put it out knowing our dog was in there. The fireman said she would be okay that they were tough but I knew she wasn’t coming when we called. Then after the fire was out I heard them ask for a sheet and I knew then what they were doing. He brought her out and laid her beside us. We let the animal control come get her bc we couldn’t ride with her like that."

Meet David and Hollie Gipson, and they need your help. This week, they traveled to Florida to pick up a new RV to be their new home. While on their way back to Georgia, they were parked and sleeping and woke up to their home in flames. By the grace of God, they got out in time, but sadly, their beloved dog Rose did not. Unfortunately, this isn't the first house they have lost everything to a fire. Five years ago, they lost their house (David's childhood home) to a fire and were never able to rebuild their home. David recently lost his leg, and due to that and health issues, he is on disability and barely make ends meet. Hollie helps raise her young granddaughter full-time, and this RV was supposed to be their start to a new life. Now their dreams are crushed again. We are asking everyone who can help to please contribute to David and Hollie to help get back some of what they lost. They are big in the church and always helping others, and I'm praying this is their time to get help in their time of need. Any little bit helps. Thank yall and God Bless!
