<div>My dad has been though a very difficult time. He was working fulltime for BCBS, a job that he had excelled at and truly enjoyed. His most proud moment was when he went out of his way, jumped through hoops in order to get a gentleman approved for a prosthetic eye that he had been denied for time after time because they were out of network. But, I believe he didn't stop until he accomplished healing for this man's soul. It was hard enough to go through cancer and the treatment, but all he wanted was a bit of normalcy. David was able to get his prosthetic eye approved. The man was overwhelmed.

<div>David was then asked to be a quarter time pastor at our church First Methodist Church 11th hour service because he had served as a pastor and the members really liked the way he spoke. He was thrilled to be called by God to serve where he was asked to - bloom where he was planted.

<div>Unfortunately, in March of 2015, he had bean passing out with a severity that was very dangerous. He was taken to the ER by ambulance multiple times, from BCBS, but they could not figure it out. After a neuro consultation and then a cardiac consultation and all of the testing they did, including a twenty four hour holtor monitor.  Dr Blanc then referred to Dr Senthil Thambidoria who gave him several tests and ended with a outpatient till test.  It came as one of the most severe he's ever seen,  He was referred to Stanford University Neuroscience Center to see a specialist for his illness.  Dr Sawfan Jaradeh.  He gave us a great deal of information, but he told us that David would be placed on SSDI for life.  It would only get worse as he aged since his blood pressure dropped.

<div>After covid, things began to get worse and now my mom - Elizabeth Lourash is beginning to have severe Grand Mal seizures - craacked skull with a huge hematoma.  This is documented by EMT and hospital admissions.  Unfortuntely, once covid ended - our benefits were put on hold and we had to reapply.  We are getting nowhere fast.

<div>Reger had a car given to him by his MiMi and Pop Pop.  Just a it started working, it was hit by a hit and run driver and totalled.  So, no car for him to go to work- only ours.  We are literally living on ramen noodles and bread.  We just don't have the money to cover anything.  Our house has had critters that chewed into the attic, rats that came in under the kitchen sink through the metal maze cabinets.

<div>We have to ask anyone for help, but honestly - we are in such bad shape.  We have no atmos gas due to a 399 bill that we couldn't pay because we had to pay on the water.  Out water had a leak (vandalism) and we had a $1900 bill.  We had fixed and put in for an adjustment but the guy that was working on it retired and it was never picked up.  We were told to pay more than our monthly bill, which we did but we found out they only adjusted 2 months rather than the 3.  So now, we have a 150 current bill PLUS a late fee AND a  $699 PAST DUE AMOUNT.  We have had to pay on other issues that has caused other items to be late.  We owe a LARGE balance on our Champion energy - but we have a CRITICAL CARE form on file.  But we are terriied that we will be shut off and that could be deadly.

<div>Between Mom's Grand Mal Seizures - a new onset *multiple* incidents, she has been put on keppra to help control the seizures.  She has gone down and cracked her skull with a huge hematoma.  She has had a few since then.  She was my caretaker, but now - Reger is helping us both as well.  He is going through an understudy type training learning to build fences, change posts, doing some remodel and construction.  We are struggling in ways that we can't even put into words.

<div>I hate to again ask for help, but we are eating ramen noodles and bread - bad for my health.  We are unable to get our prescriptions when we need them, we are doing without so many things from food to cleaning supplies.  Things are just so expensive.  We could use any help - we can even give you our provider details to pay directly.  We could use food.  And most of all, we could use prayers.
