My name is Davian Watson.

The hurricane took everything from me in Jamaica.. my home, my belongings, and most painfully,MY FATHER... But even through all the loss and heartbreak, my heart is still with my community in Jamaica.

So many people I grew up with have nowhere to turn, nowhere to sleep, and no way to start over. I can’t just stand by and watch. I want to help rebuild my community even if it’s just one home at a time by using plywood,Galvanized Steel Roof (Zinc) and other materials to give families a roof over their heads again.

I may have lost everything, but I haven’t lost my hope or my love for my people. If you can help in any way, please do. Together, we can bring back not just homes… but hope, peace, and unity to our community..

I’m from Spring Park, a small, close-knit community less than two miles from Black River, one of the areas hit hardest by the hurricane. The storm tore through our homes, our memories, and our sense of safety.
