Help Dave with Medical Expenses

It's been a whirlwind of emotions and uncertainty over the last 24 hours. As many of you know, yesterday morning Dave Alderfer was experiencing excruciating head pain and after arriving at Phoenixville Hospital and being assessed it was determined that there was bleeding on the brain. Dave had most likely suffered a brain aneurysm and further testing has shown other factors (such as a stroke that happened a few days prior and a dense area) that have complicated treatment, resulting in the transfer to Abington Hospital. 

Dave is currently in the Neurocritical Care Unit and as they move through MRIs, CAT scans, Angiograms, and various other testing to assess and resolve the pressure in his brain, the Neurosurgery team here has advised that he will be staying in the ICU for at least 2 weeks. Close family is by his side and he is improving slowly, but there is a long road ahead of him and his family. 

Dave is the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back and has never shyed away from hard work to provide for his family. His friend's know he's always up for a good time; always able to make other's laugh and simply enjoy life when he's around. You can always find him at Sunshine Cafe in the morning, shooting the breeze with the morning crew, and on weekends enjoying a breakfast with Bev, or at the garage winding down from the day. He's the patriarch of our family, the giver of best Grandpop hugs, and we are trying to make him & Bev as comfortable as possible for the long haul ahead. 

We ask that you keep Dave & Bev and their family in your prayers and if you are able to donate in any way to help make transportation, lodging, medical bills, and keeping up with their bills possible, it would be appreciated greatly as neither of them will be able to work. Moving forward is something we have to plan on, but there is great uncertainty with what lies ahead. As updates become available we will do all that we can to keep everyone in the loop.
