Help Dave return home after 3 years

In 2014, after working hard and saving enough money for some home improvements, Dave thought he was making an investment in his forever home for him and the love of his life, his dog Chelsea. While workers were in the basement of his house insulating the walls, the company failed to take the proper precautions causing and explosion and a huge fire broke out. The Boston Fire Department responded and luckily, there were no casualties. Three construction workers and one firefighter were hospitalized, but all eventually recovered. Unfortunately, for Dave, his home never recovered. Today, Dave remains displaced from his home and has exhausted all of his savings, retirement funds, and credit. The burden of paying for rent, a mortgage, and legal fees has become unmanageable and he is in real danger losing his home forever, and worse of all, having to be separate from Chelsea.  

After the fire, Dave’s home was deemed uninhabitable and he began staying in a hotel, but he eventually had to rent an apartment. Dave has no family, he had insurance and some savings, so he thought he would be able to recover independently from this tragedy. He continued paying his mortgage and rent, and hired a contractor thinking that his home would be repaired and he would soon return to normalcy. But after years and exhausting all of his funds, he realized that he had been duped. Dave hired an attorney and is trying to either get his money back or have his home repaired, but day to day living is becoming impossible.

Like many of us, Dave has been a hard worker all of his life. He has dedicated 16 years working for the government and built a career in IT. He has paid his dues and done all the right things. To his credit, he has been able to live for the past three years, but now, he finds himself in a dire financial situation. Please help us support Dave.
