<div>Hello, my name is Heather and I’m starting this fundraiser to help some sweet friends and neighbors of mine, Dave and Tonya, by lessening the financial burden of a long hospitalization.

<div>On September 23rd, Dave was admitted to the hospital with complications due to Covid-19. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and had to be placed on a vent, as his oxygen levels were severely low. The next several weeks proved to be a roller coaster ride of seeming improvement, only to then regress. He developed blood clots and contracted a staph infection. Because the damage to his lungs has been so severe, he had to be lifeflighted to another hospital where he now awaits a tracheotomy, which is the last step before a complete lung transplant.

<div>To lessen the suffering on this family, I’m hoping to raise as much as I can to ease some of the financial burden so that they can focus on what is necessary and needful…getting Dave home and back to his exuberant self!
