Help Daryl Fight Glioblastoma

Dear family, friends, and anyone who happened upon us. Daryl is exuberant, hard-working, loyal, and caring. And we need your help, whether it be financial or in prayers and thoughts.
Daryl woke up Monday, September 18, like any normal Monday. Halfway through his workday, he noticed something just wasn't right. A pre-stroke or stroke were the first suspects. Within a few hours, he was being airlifted to Wichita's St. Francis Via Christi for a brain tumor. Brain surgery to remove the tumor occured Thursday, and the tumor was sent off for a biopsy. With family by his side, we found out on Tuesday, in McPherson, that the tumor is a grade 4 Astrocytoma - aka Glioblastoma.
We are in the process of scheduling an initial meeting with a Neuro-Oncology team at Houston's MD Anderson Cancer Center ASAP (within two weeks) to get necessary tests and find out the best treatment plan. We hope to begin treatment within a month. We chose MD Anderson for their expertise in Oncology and for their cutting edge research - we know we have to be as aggressive as possible with treatment.
It's been just over a week, but we know this won't be an easy road without all of you. Your donations will go directly to Daryl's medical bills and Janice's accommodations so she can be with him through it all. After all, they are one another's rock.
