Help Darren do pushups to combat Veteran's Suicide

Hi, my name is Darren Hafford and I am going to be doing 50 Pushups at all 50 State Capitols in 50 days to continue to raise awareness and money for Veteran's Suicide.

The Organization I'm donating funds to is 22Kill which recently changed their name to One Tribe Foundation. They changed their name because they are now providing counseling services for Veteran's but also Police, Fire Fighters, and Medical Frontline workers.
In 2012, the Veteran's Administration released a report that stated that Veterans are 21 percent more likely to commit suicide than civilians and it also included the startling statistic that on average 22 Veterans a day were committing suicide. So, a couple of Marines, and a sailor decided to raise awareness for Veterans that were struggling, by starting the 22 Pushups for 22 Days Pushup Challenge. They started 22Kill as a Charity in 2015, and in 2016 the Pushup challenge went Viral. The challenge caught on as veterans, sons, daughters, everyday people, and even Hollywood stars like Dwayne Johnson "The Rock, Kevin Hart, Chris Evans, John Krasinski, Chris Pratt, Scott Eastwood, Kevin Bacon, Ludacris, Olympic Gold Medal swimmers Simone Manuel, and Ryan Murphy joined in. It was a great success, and numbers went down, however due to the Covid crisis, it started to climb again, as many people were affected by the long term effects of being isolated from family, friends, and co-workers.
The plan is to start on Sunday July 4th in Austin, Texas, and to donate half of the money raised to 22Kill, and the other half to help pay for gas, food, coffee, and a hotel room here and there when I can afford it.
You may be asking yourself, can this actually be accomplished, and I say yes it can, and yes it will. I am both a Marine Corps, and Army Veteran, yes, you read that right, I served in both. Back in 2016, an old Army Sergeant of mine, Sgt. Jamie Brown challenged me to the 22 Pushup challenge, so I decided to do 22 pushups for the Army, and then do 22 Pushups for the Marine Corps, for 44 days. I completed the challenge and continued on by adding a pushup each day for a total of 112 days. I've done this now on and off for the last 5 years, and recently completed 40,025 pushups for 633 days, and I'm still going, but I need your help to do just another 2,500 pushups all over the country. Last year was tough on all of us, and after testing positive for Covid last August, don't worry, I was blessed, I was asymptomatic, it really made me want to do something, something that gave me a sense of purpose again, like the military did. When I began those pushups back in October of 2016, I had no idea where they would take me, or that I would end up doing over 40,025 pushups, and now with your help, they will take me all across America. Please help out by buying a tank of gas or a cup of coffee, or a hotel room for a night, so I can get a shower, and thank you for your time in reading this. Please help this almost old, I'll be 51 in October don't tell anyone though, Veteran, help out other Veterans.
