<div>Many may not be aware, but one of our friends has been beside her husbands as he battles a severe medical condition.

<div>Brad has been fighting pancreatitis since 2009, after a major accident in his patrol unit.  
</div>
<div>In February, he had a bad attack that he was not able to fully recover from.  Due to the major complications of the attack, he is no longer a candidate for any life saving measures.  
</div>
<div>The doctors have done everything they can, and Brad was sent home under the care of Hospice.  Brad is a fighter and is on a mission to prove the doctors wrong.  
</div>
<div>Darla, a mother of 3, has been juggling doctor visits, work, and taking care of her youngest son while caring for Brad and staying by his side.  
</div>
