If you know our mom, Darcy, she's probably made you smile. With a quick wit and a good sense of humor, you can't help but like her.
Darcy is the kind of person who always puts others first. She gives waiters a 25% tip, and that's if they "weren't that great."
She's also the kind of person who doesn't like to ask for help. But she needs it.
Our mom has struggled with dental issues for a lot of years, stemming from bad genetics. Her teeth are finally getting to the point where they're affecting her quality of life. She can't eat a lot of things that she wants (namely, vegetables with blue cheese dip) and she's often in pain.
She needs extensive dental work, stat.
This is where we ask for your help. Darcy is going to need dental work totaling around $4,000. She doesn't have that. We don't have that, or we'd give it to her in a heartbeat. She needs this work as soon as possible, as her teeth are getting to the point where they soon may be unrepairable.
We know how many people have been positively affected by my mom. She says that "there are lots of other good causes people could give to instead of me" but we think she's a pretty good cause. If you have a little extra money to spare, we'd appreciate it. Every little bit helps!
