<div>Life can change in an instant. My best friend, Darby Chalko, recently received a shocking and devastating diagnosis: rectal cancer. What she thought were mild symptoms due to low fiber turned out to be something no one ever expects. Her family and friends are still reeling from the news.

<div>Darby is a devoted wife to Donald and an incredible mother to their two young daughters, ages 11 and 9, who are her entire world. She’s not only their biggest fan but also their softball coach and the most involved, selfless mom we know.

<div>Darby now faces a long and difficult road ahead. Her treatment plan includes three months of chemotherapy, followed by surgery, and then an additional three months of chemotherapy. This journey will be physically, emotionally, and financially overwhelming for their family.

<div>Anyone who knows Darby knows she would give you the shirt off her back without hesitation. Now it’s our chance to do the same for her. By coming together to help ease the burden of mounting medical bills and day-to-day expenses, we can allow Darby and Donald to focus on what truly matters: her healing and beating this terrible disease.
