Help Danny Schmidt Rebuild (Harvey)

Dear Friends and Family, we have all seen the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey.  I can tell you from living in Houston myself it is worse than what you see on TV, and even worse when it affects someone you know, that a lot of us know, Danny Schmidt.  Danny returned to his Houston house to find it knee deep in water, completely flooded with water.  Below is what Danny's house looks like now after having to rip up the floors and tear down the walls.   What is not shown is all the personal items that were destroyed.  Like so many others, Hurricane Harvey has placed a tremendous financial burden on Danny and with the power of crowdsourcing and generosity, we can help one of our friends and family rebuild.  

Danny and I have been friends since middle school back in Virginia, and while people in Texas are helping I wanted to reach as many as possible and try to raise money to help Danny deal with this devastation and his rebuilding expenses.   I have set up a gofundme account in an effort to try to ease that burden.  The money raised can help Danny rebuild his house, help with living expenses, purchase new furniture, carpets, beds, clothing, etc. etc.   

Please donate as much as you feel comfortable with.  While many of you might have already donated to other charities such as the Red Cross, I ask that you help out someone we know personally.  Please also know that you can donate anonymously.   I was required to put a target amount that we are trying to raise for Danny, let's see if we can CRUSH that number.  I know financial burden Harvey has placed on Danny will continue well into the future after the media coverage disappears.  Let's all see if we can help.
