Danny Pyles is an amazing husband, father of 4, grandfather of 9 (soon to be 10), a servant of the Lord, and a man with the highest integrity.
Danny suffers from a rare condition known as GPA (granulomatosis with polyangiitis) that mainly affects the lungs, sinuses, and kidneys but it can also affect the eyes, ears, skin, joints and other organs in the body. For Danny, scar tissue builds up around the airways of his lungs, making it hard for him to breathe.
His treatment is one of a kind -- he is fitted at the Cleveland Clinic with custom 3D printed stents to address the malignant paths. Throughout his treatment, Danny has gone through several scheduled surgical procedures.
On Thursday, November 2nd, as Danny was at home in Ona, WV, recovering from one of his procedures, something went wrong. He was rushed to Cabell Huntington Hospital as his condition worsened, and as the doctors discovered sepsis in his lungs, he was immediately flown to Cleveland Clinic that same morning.
Since that morning, Danny has been in the Intensive Care Unit at the Cleveland Clinic with the entire Pyles family by his side awaiting his recovery. Danny is recovering and is living proof that our God can do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think!
The entire Pyles family, with Danny as their leader, is well known for always going above and beyond helping others in need and doing so humbly giving God the due credit. Throughout the past twenty-eight years, Danny, with his wife, Kelly, and their children, have fought this disease along with the financial burden from the medical expenses.
Please consider this as a time to in some way give back and help a family in need. The medical expenses from this situation will be immense and burdensome beyond normal means. It is much better to give than to receive and the blessing will be ours for giving!!!!!!!
