<div>Last week, my husband (Dan) and I started the exciting move back to the east coast from the mountain west. We had everything planned- closing for our new home, hotels for the drive out, the U-Haul. Everything was going to plan, and we couldn't be more excited to move into our new home and start the next chapter of our lives.

<div>This morning when we were getting ready to head out on our next leg of the trip, we were greeted to a pile of shattered glass outside the hotel we stayed at where our U-Haul and trailer was parked. 
</div>

<div>Our U-Haul was stolen. 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our whole life was packed inside; our furniture, our wedding photos, my baking equipment camping gear. Everything, gone.
</div>

</div>
<div>We've been on the phone all day coordinating with insurance and the police to figure out what to do next. The police recently located our U-Haul, but only about 25% of our belongings remained. The majority of our clothing, kitchen supplies, living room, and my beloved motorcycle are still missing.
</div>

</div>
<div>What we were hoping to be an exciting start to this new chapter has quickly turned into spending hours coordinating with police, trying to figure out how we will replace what we lost, and work through the range of emotions we're feeling, knowing some of our most cherished belongings (family/wedding photos, cards from relatives who have passed, shadow boxes of our trips, our motorcycle) may never be recovered.

<div>We're reaching out to our family, friends, and community to help us get through and help offset the costs of replacing our home. Every donation will help us get back on our feet and find stability.
