<div>Danielle has been suffering from chronic long-Covid symptoms for the last two months: full-body paralysis, chronic exhaustion from PEM (Post-Exertional Malaise), and has been rendered unable to drive, work full-time, or look after herself without the care of friends and family. She has been forcing herself to work despite the exhaustion always being one or two actions around the corner, sometimes needing to be assisted into a car and carried home because of how debilitating it is.

<div>Danielle is an environmental educator working with kids at one of the only places in the Dallas/Fort-Worth area where they get to learn about local ecology and restore land together. She shares with everyone her passion to restore blackland prairies, the Trinity river and our relationship with land.

<div>For those of us that know Danielle, one of the most loving, caring and attentive people you’ll ever meet, we know that she would never be the first to ask for help, despite everything she’s going through. Every donation is an extension of love and good-will that helps immensely toward her struggle with long-Covid. She needs all the support she can get.

<div>Given the difficulties of accessing health care in the US, Danielle has been unable to get the specialist care she needs or even establish a primary doctor. Because of that, we still aren’t clear on the final costs of specialist care. The fundraising goal we’ve set reflects what we know she will need in the next few months in order to cover living expenses and get help. This amount might change as bills from the specialist come in.
